The Brief : To design an accessible front garden for an elderly gentleman who still wanted to be able to potter in his garden. The garden was south-facing and a lovely spot to sit in and watch the world go by. He wanted the space to also provide him opportunity to engage with neighbours and the local community, thereby helping to reduce feelings of isolation so often experienced by older people.
